ROBERT ROYSTON – Creator/Director/Choreographer

Robert Royston is a world-renowned choreographer and performer who specializes in country, swing and musical theater dancing, with a focus on couples movement. Mr. Royston is a four time World Country Dance Champion and US Open Swing Dance Champion. He performed his own choreography on Broadway in Swing! and later became the assistant choreographer for the first national tour of the production.

Mr. Royston’s theatrical credits include SWANGO the Fusion, Street Swing, and Urban Cowboy (the workshop). He co-produced the Great American Country special The World Championships of Country Dance for television. Music video credits include, Taylor Swift’s Love Story, (2008 Country Music Awards Video of the Year), Hip to My Heart by the The Band Perry, Last Night Again by Steel Magnolias, Shine Them Buckles by the Bellamy Brothers and Robert Brown’sSwing City. Feature films include Love n’ Dancing, Game, and Crank 2.

Mr. Royston has staged live performances for Taylor Swift, Sugarland and Kelly Pickler at the 2009 Country Music Awards. He has also staged the opening number for the 2009 and 2010 Academy of Country Music Awards for country music stars such as Miranda Lambert, Reba McIntyre and Charlie Daniels as well as Steel Magnolia’s performance at the American Country Awards in 2010. www.roroproductions.com

Single Action Entertainment – Producer

Mr. Royston formed Single Action Entertainment specifically to oversee the ONE RIDE project. Long time associates Adrian Belinne and Melissa McDonald complement Mr. Royston’s creative talents providing business management and financial oversight for the project. Mr. Belinne and Ms. McDonald are both United States Air Force Academy graduates and former Air Force pilots. Mr. Belinne is a Wharton School of Business graduate. Both partners have worked with Mr. Royston in the past on a number of his dance themed projects.

DR THEATRICAL MANAGEMENT – General Manager

DR THEATRICAL MANAGEMENT provides general management services to Off-Broadway commercial productions in New York and their interests on the road. The company, lead by Adam Hess and Seth A. Goldstein, represents such properties as The Divine Sister, Dear Edwina, Love, Loss And What I Wore, The Ohmies, and as well as forthcoming productions of Artaria, Cactus Flower, Falling: A Wake, Tokio Confidential and V-Day.
