ONE RIDE is a concert style theatrical dance production that tells the story of a young rodeo cowboy.
Inspired by and told through the music of Chris LeDoux, the show explores the passionate and often painful path a cowboy follows in his quest to become a champion and win the gold buckle. On the journey, our cowboy learns to stay true to who he is, live a life of integrity and honor — and always follow the cowboy code.
Western Underground, the band behind Chris LeDoux’s famed rodeo rock and roll for 16 years, performs the music live on stage. World champion dancers interpret the music and interact with the band, bringing the story and characters to life, through dynamic and original choreography. Photo and video montages on large screens enhance the music and dancing to give the story depth and richness. Lead singer Lane Turner effortlessly brings all the elements together drawing the audience in as he seamlessly shifts from storyteller to “one of the cowboys” and back again.
